128-E-Cala-Carril

128 Whitish rock at the base are distal fore-reef talus of antecedent AST. The reef core lithofacies (HST) prograde onto a sharp boundary (DLS) to the south (to the left) and is overlain by thinner, horizontally bedded, lagoonal facies of the AST of the subsequent 5th order depositional sequence. Thin Pleistocene skeletal eolian deposits and paleosoils in the uppermost part of the cliff. West of Cala Carril on the south east coast of Mallorca, Spain (Kendall and Pomar 2004).
